Biography

At the age of 14, in the year 1992 Nagash founded his band Troll and together with Glaurung and Fafnir he started writing the first material. When Glaurung and Fafnir left the project, Nagash continued Troll as a solo project and released Trollstorm over Nidingjuv in 1995 and Drep de Kristne in 1996. The latter album (the title means “Kill the Christians”) had an emphasis on anti-Christian lyrics. Nagash is more widely known from his other band Covenant / The Kovenant and his ex-band Dimmu Borgir. With the first album ‘Drep De Kristne’ the band got a lot of attention, especially by the media because of its provoking title. Later it got a lot of recognition by critics claiming this album to be in league with classics such as ‘In The Nightside Eclipse’ and ‘Dark Medival Times’. In 2009 Nagash formed a live band and did their first shows. In 2013 the band did it's first tour together with Dodheimsgard and Hetroertzen.
